Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Treatment Information.

- Guyon's Syndrome -
(Ulnar Nerve Compressed at Wrist/Guyon's Canal)

  • Symptoms: Pain, numbness, tingling and paresthesia affecting one-half of the ring finger and the entire little finger.
  • Cause of Symptoms: Impingement of the ulnar nerve on the medial side (Inside) of the wrist, often caused by strong, short, overused, compressive flexor and pronator muscles of the wrist and forearm.
  • Treatment of Symptoms: FLEXTEND® may help reduce compression of the ulnar nerve at the wrist junction by stretching the overly tight, compressive flexor and pronator muscles in the hand, wrist and forearm and by strengthening the extensor and supinator muscles. The gentle stretching and strengthening exercises of FLEXTEND® can help maintain the length of the flexor muscles and the strength of the extensor muscles in order to reduce pressure of structures within the Guyon's Canal.
